BARNESVILLE, GA -- Head softball coach Ally Hattermann and the Gordon State College softball program welcomed fourteen student-athletes and their families to campus on Saturday, January 12th for the signing of their National Letters of Intents (NLI) for the 2019-20 academic school year.
Signees include (Position/High School/Travel Ball Team): Kristen Eckman (RHP/Wicksburg AL/Team Easton); Faith Hager (RHP/Heritage/Georgia Breakers); Mallory Watson (RHP/Jackson/Gamers-Herrera); Bailey Odom (LHP/Bleckley County/Georgia Dynamite); Natalie Song (RHP, OF/Harris County/Atlanta Premier-Walling); Shae Kaiser (C, 3B/Bowdon/Georgia Fire – Marshall); Claire Williams (C, IF/Heritage/Firecrackers – McDonald); Danielle Bovee (C, OF/Mill Creek/Georgia Classics – Dalton); Corley Thacker (C, OF/Alcovy/Georgia Reign); Brandi Williams (3B, OF/Dawson County/Georgia Ignite); Mariah Allen (3B, 1B/Mill Creek/Team Easton); Sammie Cotton (SS, 2B/Northside/Team Easton); Camden Steele (OF/Union Grove/Firecrackers – McDonald); and Hailey Hooper (OF/Piedmont Academy/Team Georgia – Martin).

The Highlanders have begun their pre-season practices and will open the 2019 season against Wallace-Hanceville in Panama City, FL on February 2nd.
